Bau Ngu Solar Energy Project

Bau Ngu Solar Power Plant with a capacity of 50MW will contribute about 98 million kWh annually, helping to overcome the power shortage in the region and the whole country, ensuring energy sources for the socio-economic development of the province and the region.
Cam Pha Electrical Equipment Joint Stock Company provides 63MVA-115/23(11)kV power transformers for the project that meet the technical specifications: 3-phase transformer, 03 coils, immersed in oil, installed outdoors. The casing has a flange structure, the top of the casing is connected to the transformer body by welding.
The project builds many items on a total area of ​​nearly 75 hectares; installs 163,200 solar panels and 32 DC/AC converter inverters integrated with 0.4kV/22kV step-up transformers; a 22kV/110kV transformer station with a 63MVA step-up transformer and a 0.592km long 110kV double-circuit line connected to the existing 110kV Ninh Thuan 1 - Ninh Phuoc line and other auxiliary works. The project is expected to be completed and connected to the national grid by the end of December 2018. Ninh Thuan is a province with great potential for solar energy, with an average total of 2,843 hours of sunshine per year, the highest in the country. This is the basis and solid foundation to ensure the development of the solar energy industry that not every locality has.
